Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park - Preview

July 22, 2017 | Corton, Lowestoft

Set within 59 acres of enclosed coastal parkland in Lowestoft and just 10 minutes from the seaside town of Great Yarmouth, Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park has lots to offer for a great day out. It’s been a firm family favourite for 34 years!

This summer sees the launch of their brand new family ride, Rootin Tootin Target Trail, a beautifully themed interactive laser family ride. This great ride sees you grab your pistol and journey through old Sam Hob’s Wild West goldmine, where some mischievous skeletons are causing havoc and trying to blow up the mine! The only way to deactivate the dynamite is to shoot various targets dotted around the ride!

There’s numerous other rides to choose from too, including the Marble Madness rollercoaster, and Wipeout, the tallest, fastest and most extreme roller coaster in the East of England! Pleasurewood Hills is also home to the unique Cannonball Express – the world’s only Jumbo V rollercoaster. Plus there’s the soaking-wet fun at the Timber Falls log flume, as well as fantastic shows featuring majestic sea lions and playful parrots, which will delight and enchant every age group.

Plus, for the little ones, there’s plenty to do in the Kiddie Zone, where they can take a safari trip through the jungle, join the flying elephants in the sky or take a spin on the mini twister!

The park also offers a wide selection of places to eat and drink, including Smoky Joes, where you’ll find burgers, salads, sandwiches, pasta and pizzas, as well as Sharky’s Fish and Chips, Parrots Ices (for some seriously great fresh donuts!) and Bear’s Grill, for some gourmet treats.

If you’re looking for an exciting fun packed day out or a day relaxing family day out, Pleasurewood Hills has it all. With over 35 rides and attractions, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
