Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show

December 14, 2018 - January 05, 2019 | Theatre Royal, Brighton

The world’s favourite Rock n Roll musical is back! Hot from a sell out worldwide tour and now having been experienced by over 30 million theatregoers across the globe, Richard O’Brien’s timeless musical masterpiece Rocky Horror Show returns to its spiritual home for festive fun and frolics this December. It’s a Christmas party like no other!

Back by popular demand, this fresh UK production will open at Theatre Royal Brighton for a three week Christmas season from Friday 14 December 2018 to Saturday 5 Jan 2019 followed by a major UK wide tour.

Rocky Horror Show tells the story of Brad and his fiancée Janet – two squeaky clean college kids – who meet Dr Frank N Furter by chance when their car breaks down outside his house whilst on their way to visit their former college professor. It’s an adventure they’ll never forget, with frothy fun, frivolity, frolics and of course, those famous frocks.

This thrilling show bursts at the seams with timeless classics including “Sweet Transvestite”, “Science Fiction/Double Feature”, “Damn It Janet” and, of course, the pelvic thrusting “Time Warp”.

Directed by Christopher Luscombe, Rocky Horror Show is a guaranteed party, which famously combines science-fiction, horror, comedy and music, and encourages audience participation – which means getting dressed up in your most outrageous fancy dress, of course.

Many stars, including Russell Crowe, Tim Curry, Jerry Springer and Meatloaf have appeared in the Rocky Horror Show over the past four decades. Ready to thrill you with fun and naughty moments, Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show is the boldest bash of them all. But be warned, the show has rude parts!
