Directors Charlie Lightening and Gavin Fitzgerald invite us backstage for a no-holds barred look at the life of one of the most talked-about and charismatic artists with the release of Liam Gallagher: As It Was.
Liam Gallagher: As It Was documents the musical comeback of the decade. The film is an honest and emotional story telling how one of the most iconic rock ‘n’ roll frontmen went from the dizzying heights of his “Champagne Supernova” years in Oasis to finding himself ostracised and on the periphery of the rock ‘n’ roll world.
Starting again alone, stripped bare and with nowhere to hide, Liam risks everything to make the greatest rock ‘n’ roll comeback of all time, battling against the odds to return to the top of the charts.
Here’s the trailer:
Before heading out to cinemas nationwide, the film will hold its world premiere at London’s Alexandra Palace Theatre, featuring an exclusive live performance. The event will be broadcast live via satellite into cinemas across the UK.
Liam Gallagher: As It Was will be in cinemas nationwide from 7th June 2018.
